Film Festivals & Special Showings

Colorblind continued to play in film festivals across the country through 2006. A total of 18 festivals wanted screened Colorblind! See the list of festivals and awards below.

It was a very exciting year!

I was able to attend each festival myself, except for those days where we had two festivals showing Colorblind at the same time (that happened twice!), in which case one or more of the classmates took my place. For many of the festivals classmates Tim Lysinger, Brian Kincaid, Paul Nancarrow, Eric Heise, and Pat Mitchell made appearances.

However, the end of the film festival run does not at all mean the end to Coloblind excitement.

Now we are moving from film festivals to television broadcasts!

Colorblind premiered on Detroit Public Television on May 7, 2007.

Now Orange County's own KOCE Television will broadcast Colorblind on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 1:00 PM! KOCE is welcoming back teachers and students with a special "SNEAK PREVIEW" of Colorblind ahead of its formal release to PBS stations nationally in early 2008.

As soon as we start receiving the broadcast schedules (each station sets its own schedule for Colorblind based upon relevance to local events and history) we will post them on a special website page.

So if you live in Orance County, please tell your friends, relatives and co-workers to watch the KOCE Colorblind Orange County Premier on Septemer 2nd at 1:00 PM. They'll see why audiences continue talking about this wonderful film weeks after they have seen it!
